One of the biggest obstacles for some home buyers is coming up with a down payment to put towards a home purchase. Fortunatley, many cities and counties have programs designed to assist home buyers with your down payment or to cover closing costs. Depending on your location and financial qualifications, you may be eligible for one of these programs. We are here to help you navigate the down payment assistance programs that may be available.

Requirements

  • Minimum credit score of 640, or higher depending on the program
  • Available for primary residence only
  • Maximum debt-to-income ratio of 45%, or lower depending on the program
  • Household income may not exceed $88,340 with many programs
  • Home Buyer Education required for borrower(s) with an approved housing counseling agency
