Jamie Korus, CMB is the President of Alliance Home Loans which is an independent mortgage banker focusing on traditional mortgage banking developed through retail locations and as well as a Consumer Direct Division.
Jamie is very active in the MBA (Mortgage Banker’s Association) and is the 2015-2016 Chairman of the MBA political action committee, MORPAC. She currently serves on the Board of Directors, Residential Board of Governors, and the Advisory Board of the MBA Opens Doors Foundation. In addition to being a graduate of the MBA’s Future Leaders Program, she is also the recipient of the Schumacher-Bolduc Award and the Opens Doors Community Champion Award.
She has spent time developing course work as well as instructing classes required for the Mortgage Loan Originators License and Responsible Individual Classes at the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business.
Jaime received her Master of Arts from the Department of Communication University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and BA in Communication and a BS in Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
John Richter has been in the mortgage banking industry for more than20 years, and has served as the CEO of Alliance Home Loans since 2012. As CEO, John helps manage the day to day operations and is responsible for national production growth. John’s reign as CEO has helped contribute extensively to the culture at Alliance Home Loans.
Prior to joining the Alliance Team, John founded Western Residential Mortgage in 2005 and was its President/CEO. At Western Residential, John was instrumental in the company’s growth; growing the company to 150 employees in five offices throughout the Southwest. Prior to starting Western, John was the Executive Vice President and National Sales Manager at Hamilton Mortgage Company in Phoenix. As one of six founding members of the Hamilton team, John helped build the company to over 250 Employees at 20 branches throughout the U.S.
John earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from SUNY Fredonia in 1994 where he was also captain of the Men’s Basketball Team. John is an active member of Executive Council Charities here in Phoenix and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board.
Jim joins us most recently from Summit Funding out of Sacramento, CA, where he served as their EVP/CFO for the past 4 years. Previously Jim spent the bulk of his substantial career in the mortgage industry in both in-house and financial consulting roles. We’re excited that he has chosen to put his decades of experience in fast-growing mortgage companies to work for us!
Ryan Williamson is the Vice President of Secondary Marketing for Alliance Home Loans. In addition to his responsibilities of the Secondary Market department, Ryan is involved in loan product development, data management, and general support of the mortgage consultants within the Alliance team. Ryan understands the importance of prudent lending. As a member of the Alliance Home Loans Board of Directors, and management team, Ryan is committed to providing the services necessary to make Alliance one of the best lenders in the nation.
Ryan is originally from Michigan and graduated with a degree in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University in 1999. He moved to Arizona in January of 2000 and began his career in the mortgage industry. Ryan brings a level of expertise with extensive product knowledge regarding multiple loan programs including FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional Conforming and Jumbo Non-Conforming.
Rob MacIntosh has been the VP of Operations at Alliance Home Loans since 2012. He is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Underwriting, Processing, Closing and Post Closing. Rob started in the mortgage industry back in 2002 working in the Secondary Marketing Department for Hamilton Mortgage. After 5 years with Hamilton Mortgage he became the Director of Secondary Marketing for Housing Solutions, LLC. In 2009 he joined on with Caliber Funding where he branched out and specialized in Underwriting, Quality Control and Compliance. Prior to the Mortgage Industry Rob was licensed as a Mutual Fund Broker with The Vanguard Group where he held his Series 6 and 63 licenses. Rob attended Southern New Hampshire University and majored in Economics and Finance where he consistently made the President’s List for academics. Rob believes that hard work and good work ethic plays a major role in everyday success.
Ross Steckelberg is the Vice President of Production and a personal mortgage banker at Alliance Home Loans in Phoenix, AZ. Ross believes the role of a mortgage banker is to guide every client through the entire home loan process by taking the time to ensure accuracy and check for understanding along the way with the client.
Having grown up in Iowa, Ross prides himself in strong Midwest values instilled in him since he was born. Honesty, integrity, and service are his main attributes and focal point. Within minutes of speaking to Ross it is clear that he genuinely cares about each and every person’s situation and experience with Alliance. Ross actively works towards the belief that once a client begins the home buying process with Ross and Alliance Home Loans they will be a client for life adding that, “because mortgage transactions do not stick to regular business hours, I am available seven days a week, often coming in early and staying as late as necessary to get the job done.” Ross attributes his high quality service to his ongoing education and training alongside his 12 plus years in the residential mortgage industry.
Ross is active in the political arena of the mortgage industry locally and nationally. After graduating from the 2010 Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association (AMLA) Leadership Program, Ross was asked to sit on the AMLA Board of Directors. In addition to his commitment to Arizona’s association since 2010, he graduated from the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Future Leaders class of 2013. He was then recently appointed to the MBA’s Secondary and Capital Markets Committee. The MBA serves all lenders and originators throughout the country as their voice on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. Through all of Ross’ various affiliations and commitments Ross is at the forefront of mortgage and real estate changes.
Ross is also a very proud member of the Executive Council 70 which is a local charity group raising over $2 Million for Arizona children’s charities annually.
Tony Adkins is a highly accomplished Mortgage Executive with over a decade of experience driving profitable growth in challenging and competitive markets. Tony is a 15 year Veteran Mortgage Specialist and is in the top 1% of Mortgage Originators (#53) in the industry.
Tony works closely with the borrower in a professional and ethical manner throughout the loan process to determine, develop and implement strategies to provide optimized results- a common thread that is shared by the Alliance management team. Tony is able to create and implement the building of relationships with borrowers in an effective way that also allows for complete understanding of the loan process on the borrower’s part. Tony appreciates the building of relationships over transactional sales- which can be seen through the multitude of referrals that Tony receives.
Tony enjoys golf, horseback riding, snow skiing, and tennis. As a side hobby, he is also an accomplished Equity, ETF, and Options trader. Tony has a lifetime commitment to volunteerism and serving on non-profit boards; he is driven to create a positive impact in life.
Curt Larson is a licensed mortgage originator with a specialization in Home Equity Conversion Mortgages (H.E.C.M.) loans more commonly known as Reverse Mortgages. Curt and loan partner Lorrie have been improving the lives of seniors for over 14 years by tailoring a H.E.C.M. loan to the specific needs of each and every client they work with. A leader in the industry, Curt and his team have been recognized as one of the top 100 reverse mortgage originators in the country.
Curt’s has undergraduate degrees in public relations and business marketing and has earned his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global management. This strong academic foundation coupled with over 33 years of experience in the mortgage industry makes Curt an experienced professional in the reverse mortgage world.
Curt’s previous company, Prime Source Mortgage/Reverse Mortgages USA was nominated for the 2009 Better Business Bureau’s Business Ethics Award and was named one of the ten best mortgage brokers in the west by Goldline Research Company in 2008 and 2009. This award was published in the April 2009 edition of Forbes Magazine. The recognition that Curt’s company has received speaks to both the quality of service and level of integrity that Curt and his team provides.
Curt’s dedication to creating a business built upon integrity is matched only by his devotion to serving the greater good of his community. Curt was involved in Anytown Arizona for over 15 years and served on the board of Anytown Arizona for over 9 years.
Adam has been in the mortgage industry for over a decade. He started on the private lending side and later transitioned to Retail in 2011. He began his career as a Loan Officer, where he learned first-hand what a Loan Officer needs to succeed. Since then, Adam has held several different positions from Sales Manager to Area Vice President. His experience has shown him different perspectives within the industry.
Adam has been married for 16 years to his wife, Margy. They have three daughters, ages 11, 9, and 8 and a 10-month-old son.
Adam attended Washington State University on a football scholarship where he played in the Rose Bowl and was elected a Team Captain his senior year. He brings extreme passion and energy to everything that he does. His goal as VP of Talent Acquisition is to grow the Alliance family with the best Mortgage Professionals, with whom value work culture and family balance.
Max has served in the mortgage banking industry for over 15 years. He holds a deep breadth of experience in both Sales, and Operations; making him the perfect fit as Vice President of Onboarding and Training. His knowledge and dedication to the Alliance culture serve him well as he applies these ethics working hands-on with Agency, Government, and Alternative residential lending solutions – and the implementation of process, procedure, and education of the product(s) Alliance has to offer. Max’s propensity for higher-level education and training allow him to take the Alliance philosophy and plant it into his onboarding and continued education sessions.
Prior to joining the Alliance Team, Max worked for Caliber Home Loans. During his time with Caliber, Max served as an Onboarding Underwriter and Underwriting Business Analyst. He worked closely with Product Development, Sales, and Operations; developing process and procedure for their custom loan origination system.
Outside of work, Max enjoys spending time with his children, road track racing, and wrenching on his race car during Arizona summers.
